Gili Air

We’re now back in the much busier Uluwatu in South West Bali, which seems a world away from Gili Air where we’ve just spent the most incredible 5 days.

Think pure white sand, crystal clear water, turtles, coral, sunset cocktails and no motor vehicles. That’s right, the only transport around the island is by bicycle (which we used the entire time), horse and cart or electric scooter - and let me tell you, after spending the last month in Bali and Lombok, the lack of beeping and engine noise was a godsend.

I could have easily spent a month on the island.
